Acne Scarring
Breaks up and remodels the collagen of depressed acne scars to smooth the skin’s surface over a series.
— Aesthetic Medicine · Atlanta Metro

A short series spaced about a month apart for best results.
Mild redness like a light sunburn that settles quickly.
Performed by trained providers in a clinical environment.
Pair with autologous platelet concentrate or radiofrequency for a deeper effect.
— Our Approach
A little controlled injury, a lot of renewal.
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses a device with fine needles to create thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. Each one triggers a natural wound-healing cascade that lays down fresh collagen and elastin, which refines texture, softens scars, shrinks the look of pores, and evens tone.
This is a medical treatment, not a roller you buy online. We perform it in a sterile clinical setting at professional depths, and when firming is the goal we use VirtueRF, which delivers radiofrequency energy through the needles for a stronger tightening effect.
The skin already knows how to repair itself. We just give it the signal.
— What It Treats
Breaks up and remodels the collagen of depressed acne scars to smooth the skin’s surface over a series.
Refines enlarged-looking pores and evens out tone and early sun damage.
Stimulates collagen to soften fine lines and improve overall skin quality and glow.
Adds radiofrequency energy through the needles for deeper collagen tightening and lift.
I live in Dallas, Georgia. I’ve had recent facial treatments done by Lisa Green. She is wonderful, caring and patient. I recommend her 100%.

Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin that trigger your body to produce new collagen and elastin as it heals. Over a series of treatments this improves texture, softens acne scars and fine lines, refines the look of pores, and evens skin tone. It treats the structure of the skin, not just the surface.
It is very tolerable. We apply a topical numbing cream beforehand, so most patients feel mild pressure or a light scratching sensation rather than pain. Afterward the skin feels warm and tight, similar to a mild sunburn, for a day or so.
Considerably. We work at clinically effective needle depths, in a sterile environment, with medical-grade devices and proper aftercare — none of which an at-home roller provides. At-home devices are too shallow to remodel collagen meaningfully and carry a real risk of infection and irritation.
VirtueRF is microneedling combined with radiofrequency energy delivered through the needle tips. The added heat stimulates deeper collagen contraction and production, so it firms and tightens more aggressively than microneedling alone. We recommend it when laxity, not just texture, is the concern.
Most patients see the best results from a series of three to six sessions spaced about four weeks apart, since collagen builds gradually between visits. Concerns like deeper acne scarring may need more, and periodic maintenance helps sustain the result.
