How it Works

Exilis offers two options: BTL Exilis and BTL Exilis Elite. BTL Elite is for body treatments, while BTL protégé is for facial treatments. The technology revolves around stimulating targeted areas within the skin through radio frequency waves.

With different wave settings, the energy from the radio frequency penetrates the skin and heats up the different deep layers.

The right radio frequencies loosen the collagen fibers, triggering fibroblasts to stimulate collagen production. This causes a skin-tightening impact in the long term, resulting in smoother skin, stimulating collagen production and creating the fiber network within the skin.

Exilis is used in cellulite treatment and fat reduction, where the radio frequency is delivered deeper inside the body tissues, and the technology melts down the fat. Energy shrinks the fat cells, which are melted down and eliminated from the treatment part of the body by the body’s natural processes.

It takes about 20 minutes for one treatment. Many patients need multiple treatments to see visible improvements—generally four sessions, which should be arranged two weeks apart. At the end of the four sessions, tighter skin and reduced cellulite are evident in the treated area.

Exilis is non-invasive. During the procedure, we use body contouring equipment that produces vibrations and radiofrequency energy for controlled heating to the tissues in the body. Exilis causes a metabolic response in the fat cells, making them shrink. Since the procedure happens externally and is usually non-invasive, there is no scarring.
