01Is CoolSculpting Elite permanent?
Yes. The treated fat cells are crystallized, destroyed, and cleared by your body over the weeks after treatment, and once eliminated they do not return. Maintaining a stable weight preserves the result, since the remaining fat cells in the area can still enlarge with significant weight gain.
02How is Elite different from original CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting Elite is the newer generation, with two key upgrades: it uses dual applicators so two areas can be treated at once, and its redesigned C-shaped cups improve skin contact for more even coverage. The result is faster sessions and often a more complete reduction than the original system.
03Is the treatment painful?
It is well tolerated. You feel intense cold and some pulling or pressure for the first several minutes until the area numbs, after which most patients relax, read, or work during the session. Temporary redness, swelling, tingling, or numbness afterward is normal and resolves on its own.
04When will I see results?
You will start to see changes in one to three months, with the most dramatic results typically at around two to three months and continued improvement through six months as your body clears the treated fat cells. Some patients choose a second session in an area for further reduction.
05Am I a good candidate?
CoolSculpting Elite is best for healthy people near their goal weight who have specific, pinchable pockets of stubborn fat that resist diet and exercise. It is not a weight-loss solution.
